PATCH /v1/brands/{brand_id}/prompts

Update brand prompts in bulk

Pause, resume or re-categorize many tracked prompts in one call, across every Scheduled Report and location of the brand. ids are the tracked[].id of the rows from GET /v1/brands/{brand_id}/prompts (the same ids as /v1/region-configs/{id}/prompts). One-off report prompts stay as they ran.

Every id is checked first: one that is not a tracked prompt of the brand answers 404 not_found and changes nothing. The update then runs in batches, so a server error can leave part of the list changed; sending the same call again is safe. Resuming reactivates a paused location that gets prompts back. Requires EDITOR on the brand.

Path parameters

Query parameters

  • dry_run boolean optional

    Preview the call without executing it. Runs auth, scope, eligibility and body validation, then returns 200 with a dry_run object reporting the request-unit and credit cost plus a non-consuming quota snapshot. Nothing is debited, reserved, dispatched or mutated. An invalid body still returns 422.

    default: false

Header parameters

  • Idempotency-Key string optional

    Optional. A retry with the same key and body within 24 hours replays the first response.

Request body

application/json required
Type: BrandPromptsUpdate
  • ids array of string required

    Tracked prompt ids (UUIDs), the tracked[].id of the list rows; up to 500 per call. They may belong to different Scheduled Reports and locations of the brand.

    min items: 1 · max items: 500

  • category string (nullable) nullable

    Move them to this category.

  • disabled boolean (nullable) nullable

    true pauses them (they stop running and keep their history), false resumes them. A location tracks at most 50 active prompts; a resume past that is refused whole.

Example payload
{
  "disabled": true,
  "ids": [
    "018e7c2c-33ab-7df1-b1cd-2ac3a8f9112d"
  ]
