POST /v1/reports/{report_id}/runs

Run analysis

Dispatch the visibility-analysis job for a draft (or previously failed) report. Returns 202 Accepted with a job_id to poll.

Preconditions:

  • Report status is draft or failed.
  • At least one prompt is attached.
  • Brand has facts set (brand_info.description non-empty). Track progress via GET /v1/jobs/{job_id}. Once the job is completed, GET /v1/reports/{id} returns the populated report.

Rate limited more tightly than most endpoints; the exact limit is published as x-rankprompt-rate-limit on this operation. See 429 rate_limit_exceeded response.

  • dry_run boolean optional

    Preview the call without executing it. Runs auth, scope, eligibility and body validation, then returns 200 with a dry_run object reporting the request-unit and credit cost plus a non-consuming quota snapshot. Nothing is debited, reserved, dispatched or mutated. An invalid body still returns 422.
