What is an AI rank tracker?
An AI rank tracker measures your position when the result is an answer, not a list of links. It records whether an AI engine names your brand for a question, in what order, and which sources it used.
Which AI engines does Rank Prompt track?
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode (AI Overviews), Claude, Gemini and Grok, all 6 on every plan. Copilot, Meta AI and DeepSeek are not tracked.
How is it different from an SEO rank tracker?
An SEO rank tracker reports where your page sits for a keyword. An AI rank tracker reports whether the answer names your brand at all, which matters because a page can rank #1 on Google while the AI answer leaves the brand out.
How much does it cost to track every engine?
You pay per prompt and run: up to 3 engines cost 1 credit, and all 6 cost 2. A weekly check of 30 prompts on the default engines uses about 130 credits a month, which fits the Starter plan ($49/mo, 150 credits).
Why does my rank change between checks?
AI answers are written fresh every time, so the brands named and their order move between runs. SparkToro found the same brand list less than once in a hundred repeated prompts, so Rank Prompt shows how often you are named across runs next to your position, and we judge a trend over 4 runs or more.
