POST /v1/brands/{brand_id}/audits/runs

Run a brand audit asynchronously

Queue an AI-visibility brand audit for a market (country + language) and return immediately with an audit_id and a job_id. Prefer this over POST /v1/brands/{brand_id}/audits for unattended clients: an audit queries several AI platforms and takes minutes.

  1. POST /v1/brands/{brand_id}/audits/runs returns { audit_id, job_id }.
  2. GET /v1/jobs/{job_id}: poll until status is completed.
  3. GET /v1/brands/{brand_id}/audits/{audit_id}: read the finished audit.

Costs the same credits as the synchronous endpoint. Your balance is checked up front, so an underfunded account gets 402 from this call rather than a job that fails later; a failed audit is refunded.

Path parameters

Query parameters

  • dry_runboolean optional

Preview the call without executing it. Runs auth, scope, eligibility and body validation, then returns 200 with a dry_run object reporting the request-unit and credit cost plus a non-consuming quota snapshot. Nothing is debited, reserved, dispatched or mutated. An invalid body still returns 422.

    default: false
