Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rank Prompt platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Rank Prompt LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service.

1. Account Registration

To use Rank Prompt, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

2. Subscription Plans & Pricing

Rank Prompt offers the following paid subscription plans:

  • Starter: $49/month or $470/year (150 credits/month)
  • Pro: $89/month or $855/year (500 credits/month)
  • Agency: $149/month or $1,430/year (1,000 credits/month)

Prices are in US dollars and may be updated with 30 days' notice. Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year at a discounted rate (approximately 20% savings).

3. Free Trial

All paid plans include a 7-day free trial with 50 bonus credits. The following terms apply:

  • A valid credit card is required to start a trial
  • You will not be charged during the 7-day trial period
  • At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and your credit card will be charged
  • It is your responsibility to cancel before the trial ends if you do not wish to be charged
  • You may cancel your trial at any time from your account's Billing settings
  • The 50 bonus trial credits are a one-time grant and do not renew

4. Billing & Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis:

  • Monthly plans are charged every 30 days from your subscription start date
  • Annual plans are charged once per year from your subscription start date
  • All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel
  • Payment is processed through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details directly

Plan Upgrades

When you upgrade to a higher plan (e.g., Starter to Pro), the change takes effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period, and your new plan rate applies going forward.

Plan Downgrades

When you downgrade to a lower plan, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to your current plan's features until the period ends, and the lower plan rate applies starting with the next billing cycle.

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

  1. Log in to app.rankprompt.com
  2. Click your profile menu (top-right corner)
  3. Go to Billing
  4. Select the Subscription tab
  5. Click Manage, then Cancel

When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You retain full access to all features until that date
  • After the period ends, your account reverts to a limited state (no monthly credits)
  • Your data, reports, and settings are preserved. You can reactivate at any time.

6. Refund Policy

Our refund policy is as follows:

  • Within 24 hours of a charge: If you contact us within 24 hours of being charged (including after a trial converts to a paid subscription), we will issue a full refund at our discretion. Email info@rankprompt.com with your account email and the reason for your request.
  • After 24 hours: No refunds are issued for any charges, including subscription renewals, trial conversions, or credit top-up purchases.
  • Forgotten cancellations: We do not issue refunds for charges resulting from a failure to cancel before a trial ends or before a subscription renews. It is your responsibility to manage your subscription and cancel before the billing date if you no longer wish to use the Service.
  • Annual plans: No partial refunds are issued for unused months on annual subscriptions.
  • Credit top-ups: One-time credit purchases are non-refundable.

7. Credits System

Monthly Credits

  • Each plan includes a monthly credit allocation (Starter: 150, Pro: 500, Agency: 1,000)
  • Credits renew on your billing date each month
  • Unused monthly credits do not roll over: they reset to your plan's allocation at each renewal

Top-Up Credits

  • You can purchase additional credits at any time (50 for $18, 100 for $35, 200 for $65)
  • Top-up credits do not expire and are added to your balance
  • Top-up credits are used after your monthly credits are depleted
  • Top-up purchases are non-refundable

Credit Costs

  • AI Visibility prompt analysis: 1 credit
  • AI article generation: 10 credits
  • Brand Audit: 10 credits + 1 per citation page analyzed
  • Lighthouse Audit (PageSpeed): 5 credits
  • Technical SEO Audit: Free (no credits)
  • AI Recommendations: 1 credit
  • Discover contacts (Outreach): 1 credit per 3 URLs
  • Categorize citations: 1 credit per 10 URLs
  • Generate AI email: 1 credit
  • Verify backlink: 1 credit

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Create multiple accounts to exploit free trials or bonus credits
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized users
  • Use the Service to scrape, crawl, or extract data in violation of any third-party terms of service
  • Use automated tools to access the Service in a way that exceeds reasonable use
  • Resell access to the Service without a written agreement with us
  • Upload malicious content, malware, or engage in any activity that disrupts the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice or refund.

9. Feature Availability

Feature availability varies by plan:

  • All plans (Starter, Pro, Agency): AI visibility tracking, reports, content generation, SEO audits, WordPress integration, Google Analytics & Search Console, unlimited brands, Agent Mode
  • Pro and Agency only: Email outreach campaigns, white-label report exports
  • Agency only: Team collaboration (invite collaborators with role-based permissions), priority support

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. Material changes that reduce functionality of your current plan will be communicated with 30 days' notice.

10. Data & Privacy

  • Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy
  • We use Stripe for payment processing. We do not store your credit card details.
  • When you cancel your subscription, your account data (reports, settings, brands) is preserved so you can reactivate later
  • If you wish to permanently delete your data, contact us at info@rankprompt.com
  • Payment records and transaction history are retained by Stripe in accordance with their data retention policies and applicable financial regulations

11. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including its design, code, features, and content, is owned by Rank Prompt LLC
  • Content you generate using our AI tools (articles, reports) belongs to you
  • You grant us a limited license to process your data as necessary to provide the Service
  • You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the Service

12. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated content, visibility scores, or recommendations
  • We do not guarantee specific search rankings, AI mentions, or business outcomes

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your payment method fails and is not resolved within 7 days
  • We reasonably believe your account is being used fraudulently

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us to request account deletion.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
